Listening (Dialogue D)

John is a student of Arabic and a student body representative from Brigham Young University (BYU). As such, he frequently helps welcome visitors to campus. On this particular day, he has been assigned to help welcome the son of a visiting Middle Eastern diplomat.

As student body representative, John meets a lot of people. To keep track of them all, he jots down a few details on each person for his personal records. Help John fill out a contact card on his new Arab friend. Then answer the True/False questions based on the dialogue.

To help you understand the dialogue, learn the following phrase.
