المضارع

المضارع can take three different endings depending on the function that the verb holds in the sentence.

Of these three forms المضارع المرفوع is the one that you will use exclusively for the next few chapters. Make sure to write and pronounce the ن at the end of أنتم ,أنتِ and هم when using المضارع المرفوع. The elimination of the final ن in verbs conjugated with أنتم ,أنتِ and هم (AK page 56) occurs in both المضارع المنصوب and المضارع المجزوم. In Chapters 10 and 13, you will learn the specific cases where you must use these two forms.
